white noise
this is one of the few shots i took from portal point where i first stepped foot on the mainland of antarctica. there weren't many animals around, and the weather made it difficult to see too much into the distance, so i struggled to know what to shoot to document my visit. i decided to embrace the heavy conditions and go for something more abstract than usual by focussing on the falling snowflakes in the foreground. on a related note it was around this stage of the trip that i began to lament that my sunglasses had somehow snapped on the journey to argentina, particularly when the wind began to blow into my eyeballs.
