jonathan donahue
i've seen mercury rev once before, i think it was at glastonbury a while ago, but i had forgotten how theatrical and camp the lead singer johnathan donahue was. he loves to gesticulate with his hands, pull strange facial expressions and balance on one leg. he clearly really enjoys himself on stage and i think that's great, cos the positive energy seems to flow throughout the crowd and it makes it a really fun gig. there should be more musicians that play on stage with a big smile on their face.
