sky on fire
i took this shortly after we had dinner on our first night on the isle of bute.
we left it a bit late as we had a late lunch and the only place we could find open, apart from the kebab shop, was a pretty dodgy indian. the
main course was fine, but the poppadums that we started with were possibly the soggiest i've ever encountered. my girlfriend's dad thought he'd
figured out why and as the waiter passed he enquired, were these heated up in the microwave?. the waiter looked at us, down at the
poppadums before back at us and responded confidently yes they were before going on his way. we were so amazed at his answer that we
couldn't complain or request any more, instead we just continued to bend them into our mouths.
