this is a close up shot of a cake that my sister's boyfriend took at my (other) sister's wedding. he is a professional chef so i suppose you do expect to get something pretty impressive. although he was quick to remind everyone that he wasn't a pastry chef, i suppose just in case it didn't work out an nobody liked it. it did, and everyone loved it with the exception of my girlfriend. and that's less to do with the taste and more to do with the juice that ended up soaking the back seat of her car. oops!
