the dimming of the day
the weather was far less wet than christmas day, and far less windy than boxing day, so we set off for a drive and a walk. it looked like we'd messed up the timing though as we parked at the same moment the sun disappeared behind a big mountain. despite this we persevered and ascended a much smaller hill, where fortunately there was enough sunlight peaking through to blanket the fields on the other side. hoping for similar weather combined with an earlier start tomorrow.
