a display of patience
i've spoken before about the reluctance of most of the moroccan people i encountered in having their picture taken. one of the consequences of this was that when i came across someone who was happy to oblige my colleague and i would overcompensate and snap away for far longer than normal. there is lots that you could read into this fella's expression, but at the time if felt like something along the lines of seriously dude, can you give it a rest, i've got shit to do. if that was the case then i'd be the first to admit it was an entirely justified reaction, although i like how this came out so i'm still glad i oversnapped my welcome.
