pearl jam
this was taken earlier on than my other shots at the pearl jam gig, and was as close as i could get at the time. as usual at standing gigs i tried to get as close as possible, but not to the point where i was pushing people out the way. the band went off stage and came back for their first encore with go from their second album. this resulted in a huge surge forwards and i managed to hold my position when the wave receded. i would liked to have been as close as that for the whole gig, but the subsequent songs were some of my favourite (daughter, do the evolution, alive, black, indifference) so i was just glad i was around for them.
