bamboo holes
this is one of those shots that are really of nothing in particular, and i can't really explain why i chose to take a picture, but there's something i like about the result. these sticks of bamboo form a fence in an area in the middle of the amakhala game reserve where the rangers sometimes camp out. there was a small shelter, a few logs as chairs and an area for a fire. i'm not sure how comfortable i'd be out in the open, what with the local wildlife. then again, i'd probably be more concerned about the creepy crawlies that like to come together at night. probably not a place for the squeamish.
