shout my lungs right out
the last few posts of fur seals illustrated how much more rowdy they were compared to the penguins who they would mingle with. however the penguins weren't completely docile, and this screaming adélie penguin was no outlier. the trouble when trying to photograph them was that they would pop up and squawk without warning and seemingly at random. it was like a game of whack-a-mole where you would scan the area for signs of movement and quickly try to pan, zoom, focus and click before it was too late.
