flying objects
as i was starting to eat dinner after my first day in south georgia i saw the setting sun was painting the sky through the window. i had already taken so many photos that day, but instead of fatigue i was feeling particularly inspired to keep on shooting. so i grabbed my camera and went on deck to get a shot of this lentincular cloud floating above the mountain tops. as i composed the photo a snowy sheathbill decided to enter from stage right and pose in front of the scenery. it was one of many magical moments from this special island.
