about the beaten path
here's another shot from a trek i did in truso valley last year in georgia. it was a bit out of the way so a few of us shared a taxi from stepantsminda, intending to phone for them to pick us up after we'd finished. however we discovered a lack of phone reception when we arrived at the start of the trail, so we had to guess the amount of time it would take us to trek the 22km round trip. amazingly our estimate was extremely accurate, so we had a smooth journey back to georgian food and wine that evening.
