in the street
i took this shot at the bus station in morondava while waiting to travel back to the capital of madagascar. i recall it being a bit of a rush to make that trip. the previous few days my mate and i had spent it with a french mother and her son tituon travelling north to tsingy de bemaraha. when we made it back to morondava we decided to have some farewell drinks in a local rasta bar. it turned into a pretty random evening, the highlight of which was when one of the locals there started freestyling in malagasy while tituon would beatbox whilst playing a flute. definitely not the way i expected the night to go, but a really fun experience. so fun that i only had a few hours sleep before my alarm went off and i realised that i had almost no time to pack my bags and make it to the bus station. if i'd been more awake i would have remembered that nothing in madagascar happens on schedule, and the panic and rush was purely in head, so in the end i had time to relax in the bus station and take photos like this of the locals.
