beyond the great unknown
this is a shot from back in 2012 when i went on a 6 day trek in venezuela climbing mount roraima. it was my favourite part of the country, and in all my time in south america it was my favourite trek, the landscape was just unbelievably beautiful. before i travelled to the continent i watched the pixar movie up and discovered that the fictional paradise falls was inspired by this place. whilst i didn't have to tie thousands of balloons to my house to get there, i did spend almost 2 years traversing the continent before i made it to the summit. and it definitely felt like a paradise to me.
