keeping distance
this foggy scene was from a couple of years ago in morocco where people were social distancing before a global pandemic made it a recommended health strategy. today is also sunny bank holiday in the uk where everyone has been in lockdown for weeks, and judging from what i saw in the park earlier people don't seem to be distancing as much as they were. that's an observation more than a judgement, as lockdown is not easy for anyone, we'll only know if this apparent behavioural shift has significant consequences in the coming weeks and months. it's weird to be living in a time in history that you know is undoubtedly historic, but also with no idea how it will all play out.
