that's compelling you on
this is cascata do caracol, a waterfall not far from the swiss style mountain village of canela in southern brazil. whilst it's not as grand and famous as iguazu there's something i really like about waterfalls that are carved out from the forest or jungle with nothing else around. as well as viewing it from this lookout point, you can also descend down 927 stairs to see it from below. even though it was almost a decade ago i still remember how tiring each of those steps were to walk back up.
