the centre of everywhere
today's shot is one of my more recent ones, from when i went over to kyrgyzstan a couple of years ago. this is looking back along the trail i walked on my way up to travellers pass. i was above 4000m in altitude, and zigzagging my way up the loose red ground, which i did not find easy. so looking back on vistas like this not only made it feel worthwhile, but also gave me a valuable excuse to catch my breath so i could take a picture.
