tracing through the streams

tracing through the streams
never gonna break, never gonna break, never gonna break, never gonna break, all that it seems, bellows tracing through the streams
a couple of weeks ago i joined a photo workshop in london, visiting hidden spots in the city. it was from 9 o'clock until 6 o'clock, but as the focus was urban night photography, that meant starting at 9pm and shooting right through until 6 in the morning. after a full day of work it was tough going to stay alert and awake for the best part of 24 hours, but predictably the winter cold helped in that regard. it was good to take my time with each photo, setting up my tripod and considering the composition, without feeling rushed. and also the first proper time i've used a remote shutter release with my (not so new) camera. i think most of the shots i took i'll end up converting to black and white, which seems to suit the dark urban vibe, but with this one i had to go for a colour treatment.
