the universe is going to catch you
yesterday i said that i intended to continue embarking on travel adventures in the new year, and i'm not waiting long for those to begin, with 2019 only a few hours old i'm jumping on a plane and flying back to australia. i was there less than a month ago and met up with some friends on the east coast, this time i'm heading to the west coast to see another set of friends get married. it seemed a bit crazy when i first booked the tickets, realising that i would be back at home for less than a month before returning to the other side of the world. but that's how the dates worked out, and i'm never one to complain about travelling. plus it will be nice to swap the british winter for the australian summer, although i may regret saying that when i discover exactly how hot it is over there. this was a self portrait i took with a gopro dome when i was diving in a cenote last year in mexico.
