heed the path
we hosted a few different evening parties when i was working in marrakech, the first of which was in a place called beldi country club. i was blown away when i arrived, it was a large, sprawling outdoor area spectacularly lit by thousands of candles and firepits. you were greeted by local musicians next to a huge rose field as you walked in, and once inside the grounds there were a host of other musicians including a string quartet who serenaded the guests all night. the other parties had a lot more energy, but for me this was the most beautiful and charming, and definitely a different vibe to parties we organised in miami.
