where the land meets high tide
whilst i was working in cape town one of my colleagues was flukey enough to get to take a ride in a helicopter. it kind of pissed everyone else off, for no other reason then we all wanted to be as lucky and get to have a go. also the tiredness and stress i was under made a fertile breeding ground for jealousy. it was only after i finished my working week that i looked into it a bit further and discovered it only cost about £40 for a 15 minute flight. the weather was perfect, the views were spectacular and hovering above the ocean made me realise that i wasn't unlucky after all.
