the cold comfort of the in-between - extra image
on thursday i went for my yearly early morning trip to the japanese gardens in holland park. it was a little different this year as the pond had been temporarily emptied of all of the fish. somehow this combined with the springlike weather and lack of people to create a really peaceful atmosphere. i keep thinking that i should make this pre-work trip more than once a year as it's such a nice way to start the day... if only the morning wasn't so early.
