leave us and forgive us - extra image
as the sun was preparing to set on my road trip in stellenbosch i desperately searched for a spot which would offer a perfect view. switching my view between the road and the surrounding area i passed a flash of white horses as i drove passed an enclosed driveway. familiar thoughts went through my head: "oh that looked cool... should i go back to take a picture... i mean i've gone past it now, is it worth going back... maybe i can convince myself it wasn't really that good... i don't know, i mean i'm in a car, it's really not a big hardship to turn around and have a look". about ten seconds later i turned to my colleague in the passenger seat and said that i was gonna turn back to get a photo. i like to think that my decision making in quandaries such as these has improved dramatically.
