trying to get my senses back - extra image
here's a close up of another piece from the best design of the year exhibition in barcelona. this one is called esfera (sphere) and is part of a series called marina by felix lozal. it's designed to look like them things in the sea, you know the things, anemones or coral or something. whatever they're called, felix did a great job recreating them with bits of recycled, corrugated cardboard.
