tilted titicaca
i've got a comment form at the bottom of each page where visitors can say whatever they like about each photo that i post. i'll be honest, it doesn't get used a great deal and when it does it's usually spam. this is usually fairly easy to spot as it will be a link to another site, a string of expletives or a generic platitude regarding a generic website. i was a bit thrown by a (now deleted) comment i received for yesterdays shot which read so come on? is that really the best you can do?. i'm assuming that it was spam, particularly as a google search for the posters name revealed they'd recently joined, but not posted, on a bunch of forums including those on mental help, geckos and contact lenses. i'm not quite sure what possible motive or benefit arises from joining and posting random comments that don't link to anywhere? who knows? on the slim chance that it was a genuine post then i apologise for deleting it, and the answer is yes - it is the best i can do.
