conor oberst
at the end of last month i went to see conor oberst in manchester. i relatively recently got into bright eyes after a recommendation from a friend, and very quickly grew to love his songs. i missed out on seeing them play when they were last in the uk as they cancelled due to illness, so i jumped at the chance to see conor play a solo gig supporting his new album. it was a shame that he didn't play any bright eyes songs, but his new stuff ain't too shabby so i still enjoyed it. i wasn't that close to the stage, but close enough for my flash to reach (i was only using my canon a620). i've had bad experiences using the flash at gigs in the past so i was happier than expected with the results after processing.
