set my mind to wander
after i failed to see any orangutans during the official feeding hours i walked over to the nursery with the hope of seeing some in there. along the way i saw a small group of visitors staring into the trees. i followed their gaze and tried to focus through the leaves when i saw a flash of orange. adjusting my position i saw what looked like a fairly young orangutan swinging through the trees. there was just a handful of witnesses compared to the hundreds who left the feeding area disappointed, which made it feel all the more magical as the young ape swung back and forth along the footpath for our enjoyment.
