i'm housin'
i was travelling in belize at the same time as the 2016 nba finals between golden state and the cavaliers. i don't really watch basketball, but i do enjoy it and as i was travelling with a guy who grew up in america i soon found myself watching far more of it than i expected. one evening in caye caulker we were on the way to the bar to watch the latest game when we stopped to get a hot dog. behind the street food stand there was this little basketball court so we decided eat our food on the bleachers. turns out these four guys were really, really good at basketball. so good that we ended up staying for ages and favoured watching them over the nba professionals.
