the glow of the city lights
in the uk i associate ten pin bowling with being a teenager and drinking slush puppies. thanks to this night in brooklyn, my us association is dancing around and drinking beers while ?uestlove spins records in brooklyn bowl. that night was preceded by this magical view of manhattan from the wythe hotel, and followed the next day by watching an impromptu gig in the rough trade record store and then sitting by the river entranced by the same awesome skyline. brooklyn... how sweet it is!
