it's i and i
this is a really cool part of cape town called bo-kaap near where i was staying. it's full of colourful houses and colourful people, but i still preferred a monochrome treatment to this particular shot. it reminded me a little of la boca in buenos aires, both for the vibrant buildings and because i was warned both areas were a bit dodgy and i shouldn't walk around with my camera out. i ignored that advice and didn't encounter any problems, an approach which will almost certainly backfire at some point in the future.
