your cold white brother
when i was walking around in barcelona last year i stumbled upon the best design of the year exhibition. there were hundreds of really cool design pieces there, ranging from sculptures, graphics, fashion and architecture. i took some pictures of my favourite pieces which i will post this week, starting with this one which is called android 01 by jose tomas. this was actually part of a triptych with androids 2 and 3 containing spheres and plants inside their respective torsos. i liked the exposed, mechanical nature of numero uno the best.
