looking for the patterns
another reason why i haven't been posting that much recently is because i've spent the last few weeks working on a redesign for the site - and here it is. i've tried to make it so the focus is on the photos, so i went for a more minimalist menu design and hid my scribblings behind a button press - which i assume you must have figured out since you're reading this. i've got rid of a couple of pages which felt a bit unnecessary, and added a few little features. these include an overlay (with title inspired lyric) over the main image, thumbnail images with the exif data and larger, infinitely scrolling, pieces-fit-together-nicely archive page. that last one was a bitch to figure out. oh, and the logo now has a blurred version of the main photo behind it... unless you use firefox in which case it's not blurred... and if you use internet explorer... well then know you're making people who create websites sad. anyways if there's anything that doesn't work, or anything you like/don't like, let me know in the comments box - assuming that still works. hopefully it's all good and i can get back to posting pictures this month
